RFID Blood Tracking

RFID tags are developed and produced within the body of GGTEK, which can be used for vital blood monitoring.

After blood collection, RFID tags developed by GGTEK are encoded and placed in blood bags and blood tubes. Thus, the system is automated by easily determining which center, by whom and from whom the blood is taken.

After blood collection, information such as blood tests, contact information, test time, etc. are embedded in the chips inside the RFID tags to carry out blood tracking. Then, the test results of the blood tube are added to the database and the information requested is followed.

In the RFID tags placed on the blood bags, the donor’s T.C. identification number, blood group, gender, expiration date, donor’s disease history, information about the blood bag, etc. Selections such as are embedded in the chip on the label.

Thus, in specially designed RFID passes that can be positioned in hospitals or blood centers, lockers equipped with RFID systems and / or at the entrances of the centers, the control of storage conditions can be easily achieved with full automatic and fast counting.

In addition, the risk of mixing the required and used blood in operations is eliminated. The number of blood bags required during the operation and the numbers of used and unused blood bags can be easily determined. In this way, it is determined how long the unused blood is out and whether the blood will be reused or not, and blood wastage is prevented.
